PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain architecturally sound, modular, component-driven applications.
• Drive the analysis and design of software systems; help shape system requirements, and develop analysis-level documents that reflect the requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership capabilities by providing direction to and mentoring for less experienced members of the staff.
• Maintain system and design documentation, and prepare materials for project reviews.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform the implementation, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production release phases of project.
• Adhere to our software development life-cycle processes and also complete documentation of business processes and systems.
• Serve as points of contact between IT and clients, and between groups within IT

• Java Development 3+ years
• Spring/Hibernate-1+yrs
• SQL and entity relationship modeling (Oracle Preferred) 2+yrs.
• Application Server (WebLogic preferred) -2+yrs.
• Web Frameworks, JSP or, Swing (Spring Webflows preferred)-1+yrs.
• Ant / Ant Maker / CVS -Some.
• IDE-1+yrs.
• Rose (or some UML tool)-1+yrs.
• Self starter with the ability to multi-task and assess priority.
• Ability to adapt to evolving business needs is essential.
• Prior experience both participating in the analysis, design and development (coding) of client/server business applications.
• Strong understanding of standard software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of corporate software development; strong client, server, database, and reporting skills.
• Excellent Java development skills (design and coding)
• Knowledge of and experience with Analysis and Design Patterns.
• Experience using UML (Unified Modeling Language)
• Experience in making presentations, with the proven ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Experience in data migration between systems and work flows are a plus.
• Experience with entertainment oriented business systems is a plus.
