Job Description :

The Software Project Engineer (PE) will be responsible for managing the design team for a software development effort. The PE will guide the team for the full development life cycle from requirements definition through certification. Responsibilities involve leadership of the team, interface with ancillary design groups and coordination with external customer. In addition, the project engineer is Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the software effort, responsible for cost and schedule as well as technical performance of the software aspects of the product.
Minimum Experience:
Embedded, real-time control software development.
Proficiency with ANSI C
Motor control software development
Read/understand electronic circuit schematics
Broad life-cycle experience: requirements analysis through HW/SW integration & test
BSEE, CE, or ET
Desired Experience:
SW development for aircraft systems per DO-178B standards
Digital filter design & implementation
Use of in-circuit emulators / target system debuggers
Development for TMS320F2812, or similar target DSP
Ability to perform initial SW integration with newly designed hardware, utilizing both SW and HW debugging skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills required See Above.
Must Have :
6+ years of lead Software Development experience required.
BS Engineering
Aerospace experience on software development
MUST provide state of candidate's residence and most recent employer
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
