Job Summary
This position is responsible for implementation and maintenance of the SAP R/3 system.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Take part in SAP implementation projects as functional consultant.

Job Description:
Work as DBA for outsourcing engagements. Work in a shared DBA team environment to provide support for production and non-production (development, test and UA) databases. Support more than 30 large, complex databases. Sizes of databases range from 5 GB to 400 GB. Requires thorough understanding of complex database architectures (utilizing new features of Oracle) and extensive proactive performance tuning.

Primary tasks
- Provide DBA services to support steady state day to day work
- Provide support to project type work and put together work plans and task management
- Train the junior members of the team
- Perform application and database performance tuning
- Develop procedures and scripts for continuous improvement, repeatable processes and maintenance activities related to databases.
- Review, prioritize, and research database change requests.
- Ensure consistency and completeness across system changes.
- Research technical problems and assist in identifying solutions
- Interact with app teams and client personnel on technical issues
- Coordinate database level changes with data center, tech team, app team and management
- Work with management team and help identify areas of risk and areas of improvement.

The Oracle Forms/PL-SQL Developer main responsibilities will be to maintain the BF application Oracle Forms and custom PL-SQL code.
